with mason

Rector Stimson’s dual role as a senior leader at The Heritage Foundation presents a clear conflict of interest. The Heritage Foundation has attacked Mason and even urged the federal government to cut off the very funding that Rector Stimson is legally and ethically bound to protect.

This conflict undermines the independence and integrity of George Mason University and puts its future at risk. Our university president and our community cannot be evaluated fairly by a Rector whose outside employer is working against Mason’s best interests.

George Mason University needs and deserves a non-conflicted BOV Rector – one who will ensure that the University’s very best interests are being represented in countermanding the baseless attacks on Dr. Gregory Washington and the University.
