Join Us at the Board of Visitors Meeting

George Mason University is now at the center of a national debate over the future of higher education.

This Friday, August 1, George Mason University’s future is on the line. Join fellow students, faculty, staff, alums, and supporters at the Board of Visitors meeting to stand with President Gregory Washington and protect Mason’s leadership. In recent weeks, the Trump administration launched five investigatory actions against GMU. This Friday, August 1st, members of GMU’s Board of Visitors may take up a vote on replacing GMU’s leadership.

This is a debate about who governs our universities and colleges, who belongs here, whose speech counts and whose speech is silenced, and whether George Mason University will remain a place of free thought, inclusion, and academic excellence.

Pledge to attend the Board of Visitors meeting by completing the form below. Your presence will demonstrate the power and unity of the Mason community as we stand together to protect its future.
